Getting Over the Hump
Your first question is, "What is wrong with me?" And, the answer is...nothing. You are doing the best you can with what you have. And, only the bravest among us have the courage to ask for help. So, the fact that you've brought yourself this far, that's something to feel good about. Now, what's the next step? Find a therapist that will help you move from feeling stuck and alone. Mental illness convinces people that they are bad, unworthy, and the only person in the entire world that feels that way. And, that's simply not true. Drs. Larry, Renee, and Melissa are here to help.
What's a psychologist?
Doctors Larry, Renée, and Melissa are psychologists, which is considered a terminal degree in the field of psychology. In other words, it's the highest degree a therapist can attain. In order to become psychologists, Larry, Renée, and Melissa attained Doctorates in Psychology (PsyD's), and passed a comprehensive licensure exam. What does that mean for you? Although all therapists provide mental health treatment, psychologists have the most formal training. Doctors Larry, Renée, and Melissa have a complex, comprehensive, and yet genuine sincerity in their approach's to therapy. A psychologist doesn't just treat a symptom, a psychologist treats the entire person.
